You have to look on a regular basis, almost like having a route you
check weekly. I lived in Phoenix till last year and found a lot of
great vintage Macs. ASU Surplus used to be a great source also, when
they were open to the public but they now only allow students in the
warehouse on a daily basis, and do periodic public auctions. Also try
a thrift store called Savers in the Phoenix area. I used to haunt the
thrift stores in the east valley, Scottsdale and central phoenix
areas. Be persistent.
