It's very simple to copy everything on a System 7 through Mac OS 9.2.2 hard
drive.

1. Open the original drive and create a new folder. (Leave the default name.)

2. Move everything on the Desktop into that new folder. (Don't select drive
icons.)

3. Drag the original drive icon onto the new drive icon.

4. Open the new drive. You'll see one folder with the name of the original
drive. Open it.

5. Select everything *except* the folder labled Desktop and move it out of the
folder to the root level of the new drive. (You cannot move the Desktop folder
to root because there's already a hidden Desktop folder there.)

6. If the System folder doesn't have a Mac icon, open then close it.

7. Use the Startup Disk control panel to select the new drive then restart.

8. Open the new, now boot, drive and move the contents of the new folder
(created in Step 1.) to the Desktop and arrange how you like.

9. Delete the folder with the original drive's name, also delete the (now
empty) new folder.
