Hi,

The PSU is not faulty and the keyboard is OK as well since I they work
perfectly with my other Iifx logic board.

It has to be something on the IIFX logic board, not the keyboard/PSU

Make sure that your keyboard can ground pin 4 (I think it is pin 4)
when the button is pressed...
