I always wanted an original iMac, but couldn't bear to pay more for shipping than the unit itself. And local Mac "deals" on Craigslist are usually of this variety - hundreds of dollars for nothing special. (Haven't seen someone wanting $1500 for a black&white Classic, though. That's just... err, classic.) Last year, I drove by someone selling junk out of the back of their SUV, and caught a glimpse of Bondi from the corner of my eye. Naturally, I turned around to check it out. They thought the poor iMac was a PC monitor... Some relative swore it worked, but they couldn't figure it out. They wanted $5 for it, and I was happy to oblige. My kids thought I was nuts, until I got StarCraft running on it, and they had another computer to play LAN games on. :) --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You received this message because you are subscribed to the Vintage Macs group.
