All:

Mother in law dropped above iBook.  She went and bought a new one,  
giving me (back) the old one.  All that's wrong is the cd tray popped  
out completely along with the ribbon cable.  I plugged the cable back  
in, stuck the tray back in, all works.  Problem is that the tray still  
pops out completely...there's no end stop anymore.  I saw no telltale  
scraps of plastic, etc., missing from the tray or inside the slot  
(what I could see).  Is there a trick to popping it back on the rails  
or am I looking at case disassembly to do that.  I doubt the computer  
is worth the $$$ a replacement tray would cost.
