Not as bad as the hexadecimal gaffe in the original edition of "Encounter With 
Tiber" where it was stated that hexadecimal counted from 1 to E.

When I read that, my though was "Buzz Aldrin went to the moon on a computer 
controlled spaceship! He should know that it's 0 to F!"
