The 0.1 version has a Finder showing a version of 1.1g with the mountain background and a copyright of 1984
The thing I'd forgotten to mention about the 0.0 one is the Finder did not have a mountainy background. It may actually predate the first public release. The System file has a Created date of Monday, March 11, 1985 at 9:00 AM The disk contains much less stuff than the 0.0, no desk accessories other than the Choose Printer and Control Panel, etc. Scott Christian Wacker wrote: > Just realized that it got corrupt upon uploading, and I re-uploaded > the correct file > > On Mon, Dec 7, 2009 at 10:32 PM, Christian Wacker <[email protected]> > wrote: > >> If possible, try using 7Zip (I'm sure there's a Mac port out there for it) >> If that doesn't work, i'll attempt to decompress one to my site on my >> PC (my newest Mac is a OS 10.3.x machine) >> >> (After some quick clicking) >> Inside the .rar file is a file called "System Disk.img.bin" do .bin >> files survive a PC to mac transfer intact? -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
