I was playing with alternative firmware on my old router and found out how to remove auto-negotiation from each of the LAN ports and manually assign a speed to 10Mbit/sec. I believe this option may work for those who need modern solutions to hooking up older equipment to the internet. If anyone would like my old router to test it out, please let me know. Ideally, i'd like to be able to buy these routers from the internet and configure them for individuals who need help in doing so. Please let me know if you'd like to test out my router for me. I dont own any vintage mac equipment at the moment that is able to get online.
