I've recently unearthed a LACIE external SCSI hard drive that was
apparently formatted in Mac OS extended and then locked in something higher
than OS 8.1. It appears to contain some software that allows for regular
backups from a main disk. The only mac I have with SCSI is a Classic II with
OS 7.5. When I plug this disk in, it warns me that it is too large for me to
view with 7.5, and that it is locked. I am unable to put anything on the
drive, or take anything off, but I can see what is on the drive currently.

Is there a way I can unlock this disk and use it normally from within
OS 7.5?

Cheers,
Jason
