A IIgs can run many operating systems. The "system disk" you have
should work, unless it has gone bad. What size disk drives did you
acquire with the IIgs? If you have a 3.5 inch drive, you can make
better use of ProDOS.
ADTPro can be used to create disks. It requires a serial card for
your IIgs. Full details at the URL below.
