IIRC I cannot format a disk hfs standard in Leopard (the option does not exist in Disk Utility) I think I tried an HFS USB stick also having problems. I recall these problems because I wanted to make a place to transfer files while booted into Linux over back to a place where mac could get them -- support for HFS+ seems to have broken write support at present (yes I tried format without journaling). Couldn't format HFS in Leopard. Maybe the HFS support also is borderline like SCSI-old is... > Old fashioned SCSI support seems to be a bit broken in > Leopard and Snow Leopard. I've run into a number of issues. Hmm, can you say more ? -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
