Isn't the memory the poster is looking for, the same type of memory used in the Power Macintoshes 5400 and 5500? Or is it the type used in (among others) the Power Macintosh 8500? If those two types even differ at all?
If so, I have some available, salvaged from my late Power Macintosh 8500. Shipping from Europe is costly, but I could see if I can distill any information from the IMMs that can aid in the poster's search. I know for sure that the IMMs from the PM 8500 are not 'notch compatible' with industry standard SD-RAM DIMMs (PC100/133). If the poster can find out wether his PM 7500 has the same 'notch' incompatibility, the solution is right around the corner. If I could only remember the name of the technology.. Bound to remember it sometime today! Regards, Eelco. On 13 mei, 12:54, Britt Dodd <[email protected]> wrote: > Yep. What he said. Forget pc66 or pc100 or pc133. They wont work.
