I have a Mac SE/30. It fires right up, boots beautifully into System 7. It will run all day without a hiccup. No lock ups, reboots, nothing. Sold as a rock. If I power it down it will not power back up unless I wait a very long time. (2-3 hours)
I'm not immediately thrashing the power switch. I of course respectfully (lol) let the drive spin down and wait 15-20 seconds before turning it on again. I get a black screen. Nothing. The HDD indicator light flashes but it doesn't fire up. If I wait 2-3 hours (it seems) it will boot right up again and run all day. Thanks in advance for any help or suggestions. -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
