Back in the day I had a util that let me override what the monitor says it can do and use custom resolutions. I thought it was something like PowerBar or PowerRes or something but I can't find it now. Does anyone remember it? Alternatively, does anyone know any solution for getting, say, 1280x1024 out of a Mac when its definitely capable of it but my adapter doesn't support the sense pin arrangement?
