Ok everybody, I posted this to the iMac group, but they denied that it even exists lol.
I've got a bondi-blue, tray loading iMac (looks like a 1st gen!) ... but it has NO IrDA in the front (just like a Rev. C) and inside the door on the right side it indicates 266MHz and a 6GB hard disk! LEM had an article about the Rev. C iMac's that indicated a rumor they used some extra Bondi cases for some Rev. C models, even though 'Bondi-Blue' is not technically a color choice. Here's the article: http://lowendmac.com/imacs/rev-c-imac-g3-266-mhz.html Note: *There are rumors that some Bondi blue ones were built in January 1999 using the last of the Bondi cases.* * * That being said, does anybody else have one? I could not find ONE on eBay (current or completed listings) ... is this rare? Is it valuable? This one is a little beat up, but nothing is cracked or broken... I am thinking about getting some RadTech 'Ice Cream' and start plastic buffing on this baby.... it boots and runs just fine, probably all stock inside, too. Any and all information regarding Bondi-Blue Rev. C iMac's is very welcome here, I don't have much information on these. According to everymac and Mactracker, this beast doesn't exist... yet here it is in front of me. Thanks! -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
