As I try to recover files from old disks, a bad disk on my originals is
(narurally) SUM backup, from disk labeled SUM II (no id on it, the SUMI
disk is V2.00, D.. TX 945.M)

Can a linux machine write a Macintosh Classic readable disk?  If not, I may
have a chicken & egg issue)
