(This is a message to all Mac TV owners ... and very soon all 68K Mac owners in general.)
*ALL* Mac TVs more than likely have leaking logic board capacitors at this point. I have not seen a Mac TV logic board that didn't. (Supposedly all Mac TVs were all manufactured in the same massive factory run.) If you have a Macintosh TV and you have not replaced the caps yet, you should stop using it and make that your first priority. If you keep waiting the corrosive goo inside the caps will eat your board beyond any possible repair. Failures due to bad caps will manifest in a number of ways, including something like this. Even if it is a power supply problem (and by the way, these machines share the same power supply design as the LC 520) and you manage to fix it, you are only delaying the inevitable.
