Brian, The CC will not power up until the power key on the keyboard is pushed. Turning the switch on at the back of the CC is only half the process. Often folks who are selling them do not have the keyboard or are unaware of the protocol. You are always taking a chance buying one, but it has been my experience that this is usually the problem.
