Hi all, after googling in this forum and elsewhere I couldn't find the final answer to the question above so I hope there in somebody who can help. A gentle friend of mine gave me 2 Powerbook 100 with one power supply and one floppy disk unit. Both of them, when plugged to the wall-wart, show (almost) the same behaviour:
- First there is a single nice sound, kind of chord - then I can hear kind of low volume rattling sound - in the meanwhile the screen goes all black with a dim backlight, doesn't show anything and stays like this for long I tried also repeating the procedure toggling the rear battery power switch, removing the main battery and also removing the backup batteries, without any evident difference. I love Macs and I don't want to through the away, do you have any suggestion for me? Thank you Gaetano -- -- ----- You received this message because you are a member of the Vintage Macs group.
