Now that I got it to boot and be generally happy though, I see an occasional (and unpredictable) visible and audio glitch, sounds like a pop, looks like someone unplugged and replugged in the power really fast, which causes bus errors/faults/hangs/crashes. I have a feeling it's something with the power supply now. I'll have to pull that board and re-cap it as well next.
