Thanks to someone on the swap list I just acquired a Quadra 700 with a external cdrom drive model apple cd 600e. I've been looking at possible upgrades and addons. Two that caught my eye was a NewerTech PowerPump Accelerator-Quadra 700/900/950 PowerPC 601 72MHZ upgrade on ebay $20.00 auction says its new old stock and a DOS Card from Centris 650 priced at $42.00. I understand both use the PDS Slot so which would be the more worthwhile one to buy? What is the max ram the Q700 can take I read both 68MB and 136MB depending on the site including the 4MB on board it is currently configured with 4x4MB sims. I saw OWC still sells 30-pin 16MB FPM memory are these compatible?
