That's a question even a non-techie like me can answer. I have been using
Word, Excel, Macdraw, and MyDatabase continuously and almost daily for
about 25 years. Keep books and compute taxes with Excel, draw remodeling
plans for my house with Macdraw, store contact info and photo records with
MyDatabase, and log my car restoration with Word, for example. Recently
maintained the books for two clubs using Excel, and did newsletters until a
few years ago with my old version of Word. My old Stylewriter II still
handles my printing needs. computers have evolved dramatically to do all
sorts of new things since I bought my Lc, but the early Macs still do a lot
of basic jobs just fine.
