OK - got it - so the older Macs use a gizmo that plugs into the back of the Mac - called PhoneNet and then a phone cable inserts into the PhoneNet and goes to the other older Mac. I didn't look yet - how will I hook a PhoneNet to the I Mac - does that work. AS I said, I haven't looked yet - the "connections" are on the side of the IMac.
