I would recommend System 6 or so and maybe System 7, but I wouldn't recommend anything higher than that, seeing as later System 7 versions look more aged on a B&W screen rather than a colored screen where it actually looks decent. also System 7 is probably pushing the 68000 chip farther than where it's limits should be.
