I think LEM Swap is a good place where only apple stuff is sold, and I myself ended up striking a deal in this group to get a Power Macintosh 5200 with a 5500 board, but in terms of eBay alternatives, I like Mercari because you can get a crazy deal on some of these older Macs, especially G3 and G4 laptops. Doing a search myself (although I already have a 2005 PowerBook G4 and 3 iBook G4s, it's easy to find the old G4 systems for less than $100. I would also like to mention that I got ALL of my G4 laptops for less than $100, and all my iBook G4s have good batteries. I may also be able to recommend a G4 iMac since they have a unique compact design, but for you, avoid the G4 Tower (if you're lucky you can find a cube for a good price.) If you ever need buying help, I can spot a good deal.
