If the fan is still noisy, can do this on LCIII+ and up. Some are
quieter than others for same CFM rating.
Use thermal sticker, attach piece of flat alumium sheet say 3" x
4", 1/8" thick. to the 030 cpu. Rewire the fan to run on 5V and
you're done.
Reason I said flat piece of 1/8" alumium was to let you use PDS
daughter cards.
I prefer LCIII and up. LC and LCII too small on memory.
Quiet scsi w/ larger capacity HD does exist. Find fujitsu or IBM.
My IBM 540MB HD is very quiet. Also try attaching very heavy mass to
HD to dampen the vibration if you need that.
