Very cool, I wish I had all those Mac models. However, I have a serious lack of monitors-- one Mac RGB 12", with a moderate case of magnetic color stain, and big-@$$ PC monitor that works with all my Macs through my OmniMac VGA converter. I like to think I'm pretty knowledgeable about Macs and I hope I'll be of help here. I was on the list a while back, but I have a lot more experience now, so I hope to be able to to help some people out. I'm also opening up a Mac Software/Hardware hacks section of my web site soon, and I'll be sure to post a link to it once it's ready. -- Deven Original Message - - - Welcome Deven! You sure sound like someone who knows his stuff, happy to have you around. I guess you'll learn about other listmembers soon enough. I myself don't know sh*t about programming, and hardware manupilation is not my strongest point either, but I do my bit about operating system and software issues. My active computers (not being stored in the garage that is) are my plus (administration, typewriting, text conversion), my iMac SE running OS X (Internet mainly) and a otherwise useless pb 150 (no adb port, hardly function trackball) under my desk as a server. This setup of very silent computers makes me feel very comfortable. My most recent acquisition was a Laserwriter IINT, and I just got a agfa e52 scanner in for my birthday (which is another two weeks down the road actually). In my garage I have 2 IIfx, 1 quadra 700, 1 lc 475, lots of lc's, se's, se/30's and a mac ed (upgraded 512k, released in Europe only) and some more stuff. I take some of them out every now and then to fool around with. -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
