Hi,
Here's the findings I discovered w/ that IIvx. It's
stuffed into modified IIci case that was done by Jeff that I got via
swaplist w/ my regular 8*24 card. After that, I plan to vacate the
IIvx for 7100 logic board.
1. CPU felt fast w/ 32MHz and cache. IIvx is hurt by the 16 MHz
bottleneck when scrolling whole page at a time can see it happen in
slow motion on wp 3.5e. Ugh!
Is there's a way to push up the 16MHz
say 20 to 25MHz even 32MHz? I have seen the overclocking item but
not much detail on which oscillator is used for this.
2. If anyone isn't surprised, here's the whopper: This will
work: nubus video card without VRAM sticks installed!
