I had just dug out my copy of the netiquette a couple of days ago and 
was reminded what an excellent reference it is on netiquette in 
general. I'm thinking about asking permission to forward it to a 
couple of other lists I'm on.

Let me ask just one dumb question:
Being relatively ignorant about 'Net jargon, I got stuck on one word 
in the paragraph you quoted:
What is "trolling"? (I'm _guessing_ it is picking up addresses for 
selling to SPAMmers. Am I way off?)

(Unfortunately, I've seen more than plenty of examples of the other 
infractions listed in this paragraph...)
