If you are thinking about say, deleting Windows and installing the Mac OS, forget it. It won't work. If you really want to make the switch, a 1.2GHz AMD PC might bring you enough money to get a used (or maybe new) Mac. You can get a Blue & White G3 for about $700 nowadays. If you can't bear to get rid of the PC, you can run Basilisk II on top of Windows/Linux. Basilisk II is a Macintosh emulator.
