My humble apologies to all (incl. Mike B.).
Mike Breeden has in the past responded personally to
my questions, and his website remains a haven for Mac
users who can't get a straight answer.
I'm not too sure what some list members mean when they
write about Google having the materials via their
newsgroups. But posting a question to an NG is a
viable alternative. I wish to thank Dan Knight for
offering to archive and/or make available postings on
technical matters. I've stated before that Apple will
be extremely lucky to survive the coming Linux-based
tidal wave. And, yes, you can run Linux on 68k Macs
pre-quadra. Any attempt to curtail Apple-based info
will only accelerate the Linux wave.
Happy Easter!
George
