Nope. With a 3rd party adapter that has the ability
to both fool the IIci with the proper sense pin coding
and convert the sync on green to seperate or composite
sync (as needed by the particular monitor) a IIci
can run lots of multisync monitors.

The only catch is those adapters cost as much as a
double handful of old IIci Macs! :P Griffin makes
one that costs around $50. You _really_ have to love
your vintage Mac setup to drop that kind of cash
just to plug some monitor in that would be better used
on a G-something Mac.
