-- Okay. Great! I could take that path. I'm removing some other prefs to see if I can worm around the problem. I just dumped 3 items: Apple talk prefs, Users and Groups Data file and AppleShare prep. Naturally I couldn't open the chooser so I'll try putting them back one at a time, alone and see what I get. Thanks again.
