You can use NeroMAX. Apparently it's been given the axe by Ahead. There's zero mention of it on their website now. Two companies have the last "update" to download on their websites. It's actually the full 1.6.8 version of the software. http://www.ikebanadrive.com/download_library_frameset.htm http://www.archos.com/lang=en/download/drivers.html About halfway down the page there. NeroMAX supports CD-R and CD-RW, writes CDs in HFS, ISO, DOS and Joliet formats plus a hybrid format on which you can put both PC and Mac files then read them all from both systems. NeroMAX will install for 68k or PPC and supports IDE, SCSI and FireWire burners. IIRC it only supports SCSI on 68k even if you have one of the 68k Macs with IDE. NeroMAX was based on B's Recorder Gold. The thing to remember is for all Mac files you wish to access on the PC, you cannot use these characters in the filename. \ / : * ? " < > | Windows will be completely unable to open or copy the file because those characters have always been used on PCs from their beginning as "special characters" used for fun and fancy tricks and all around general directory navigation from the command line. If you try to put any file with one or more of those characters in its name on a straight ISO, DOS or Joliet format CD, NeroMAX will pop an error message while creating the temporary CD image file. It won't tell you which file has the illegal character(s) though. That's a PITA when you're trying to copy 1,000 files in a hundred or so folders! If you use the Hybrid CD format, then any valid character for a Mac filename will go, you just can't access those particular files from Windows. ===== "Truth is, after all, a stronger edifice than a lie.
