Nope, none of the 68k chips nor their contemporary x86 family have thermocouples. No 68k or x86 chip really needed a heatsink until the 040 and 486 generation. (Though the LCC packaged 286 used a heatsink and clip to hold it onto the "socket".) The only modern/current high-ish performance CPU that's even capable of running without a heatsink and not instantly frying itself is the VIA C3. :) But that's as OT for this list as a Gx Mac... ===== "Truth is, after all, a stronger edifice than a lie.
