So I discovered a few minutes after asking. I have more files on my
hard drives than I thought. I was considering building one from parts,
but if I can't reuse my collection of power supplies from dead cx/ci's
I probably won't bother.

I noticed that the II & IIx have the same part number, but the IIfx is
different. So, they're interchangeable, but not technically the same?
