My Q700 draws 31W with no hard drive. 1 nubus network card, and 68 megs
of RAM. Works out to about $3 worth of electricity per day where I
live. I'm sure I burn more than 10 times that per month playing with
the various "vintage" Macs in my house. Or from the mp3 server I have
continually running behind my entertainment unit. I guess it's a good
thing I keep the Quadra 900 and 950 in my closet and rarely use them!

Pickle - if you want to make an environmental statement, it seems to me
that you should go after people "wasting" on the order of kWatts - not
25 Watts.
