I have a JetDirect EX Plus 3, unfortunately I don't have the power brick for it. :P These older JetDirect print servers do not work with "Winprinters" or any printer that relies on the host system to do the image processing. To use the JetDirect with a Mac, the printer must have Mac drivers available AND a PC type parallel port. That pretty much limits your printer selection for vintage Macs. I know there are some older HP printers that will work with an 040 running System 7.5 or newer and must be connected through a JetDirect or compatable server. Those printers have USB and parallel ports. No way to directly connect them to a 68k or pre-PCI PowerMac. Another solution would be to find a printer with a built in ethernet connection. AH! Here we go! The HP DeskJet 2600/2600dn has a slot for an HP JetDirect 610n print server card, and it works with as old as an 040 running Mac OS 8.1 and a 486 running Win 3.1. http://www.sharplineinc.com/HP/DeskJet/DSJ2600.htm Feh, that site has it wrong, HP calls it a "Business Inkjet" not a DeskJet.
