The old chestnut "can I get a USB card for my NuBus Mac" hasn't been raised for a while so I thought I'd muddy the waters... The Atari community has been working on a USB cartridge for their machines and have made a lot of progress:
http://www.strotmann.de/twiki/bin/view/APG/ProjUSBCart Note that the controller chip that they are using does not require a PCI bus infrastructure in the host computer. I know someone who has used a similar controller in conjunction with a PIC in some lab equipment and I'm convinced that it would be possible to create a NuBus card with a lot of work. At the same time, I can't see much point. Simple devices such as mice, keyboards etc could be supported with a fairly modest driver acting a a shim between the USB card and the existing Mac OS hooks for ADB devices. Most people, however, would want a USB card to support modern devices such as cameras, scanners and printers which would require a lot more programming.
