 I just picked up a CD/Maxtet 700 CD ROM Tower. It's
got 7 CD ROMS and is
marked as a file server. A SCSI device, it hooks to
any Mac from an SE/30 to
an early PPC. Maybe newer, too, but it's got 4x
 speed CD's.

LEM has an OEM version of FWB CD-ROM Toolkit on the Daystar software archive which includes JukeMounter. That should handle it and it works all the way up to OS 9.2.2.

Ya Know...... I HAVE FWB, and couldn't get it to mount any CD in any slot
even after following the maker's directions. I have "TFM" in PDF, and read
it, and it makes it all seem like a walk, but it won't play with me.

I'm using a 68k with OS 8.1 the minimum required.

It SAYS "Network" File Server. It may be I need the Apple Talk set to make
it do it's thing. I've got an email in to the company.
Can't wait for the response.

I don't know if you are aware but the Maxtet tower makes it's multiple CD-ROM drives appear as a single drive with multiple Logical Unit Numbers (LUN). I've used one with the supplied software (SuperDrive maybe). I haven't tried it with CD-ROM Toolkit though.
