Hi there....I'm just re-subbing after a long tour in the Candy & Graphite Mac world. I have a large horde of sharp-screened CC's (20) and a pile of 550 and 575 mobo's(40) and want to build a bunch of Mystics to sell. I remember the "065 Enabler" but tried to configure a bunch of blank HD's in a Quadra 840 A/V and transplant them into CC's w/ a 575 Mobo. No Go....Got the System Bus Error window!! Added the 065 Enabler....No Go! What am I missing here?? Any help WILL be rewarded!!!!!! BTW.... all MoBo's have 32 mb SIMMs installed. Of course all 550 mobo's work....but I want to run OS 8.1, which requires a 040 mobo. Thanks Mikie
