I took out the cache card, turned on the Mac again - and it boots just fine!

Really weird. The IIci  has been on my dinner table for months. Last time I used it 
was for networking it to my Classic, to transfer tthe contents of the Classic's 
harddisk.

The card looks fine to me. What could have gone wrong with it? What's TU?
