I can't remember if System 6 has a startup items folder inside the system,
but moving it out of that one will disable it. Otherwise, I would look in

System 6's way of having an application launch automatically upon startup is through the "Special" menu. Open it and choose "Set Startup...". On the dialog box that opens, select "Multifinder" and then select an aplication to launch upon startup.

Now, if Pyro is already set to launch automatically and it does not quit, then you wouldn't have access to the "Special" menu. You'd have to start from a floppy and then drag Pyro! out of the System Folder.
