Remember to take the screw out of the battery compartment.

I open Compacts by taking all screws out but one in the handle.

Lyingon a soft surface like a couch or bed, face down, I tap the torx driver
with my palm. It's resting on the screw while I do it. This always cracks
the top of the case.

I press on the SCSI port with my thumb to crack the bottom half.
