I came across these yesterday. And no. I have no financial relationship with the company except that of a satisfied customer.
<http://www.allelectronics.com/cgi-bin/category.cgi?category=search&item=LBAT-40&type=store> At $1.75 each or 10 for $15 they appear to be a workable replacement for clock and startup cells for older Macs especially the soldered-in kind. They have axial leads and are 2 inches long which means they won't fit directly into the snap-in sockets used by Apple. All Electronics is a surplus shop and there is no telling how long the cells have been sitting on the shelf but the price sure seems right. Shipping will be about $6. I donno about non-US orders. -- --> The best programming tool is a soldering iron <-- -- Vintage Macs is sponsored by <http://lowendmac.com/> and...
