You probably got one of those "cheap" USB card - they tend to be flakey
under OS9. You probably need to exchange it for another card until you
got one that works. Once you have it working, I don't see any problem
sharing it with a IIci.

Hey, thanks for all the KVM info.
Another question. I just installed a USB pci card on a PowerMac 7500.
I also installed the USB card support from Apple. When I attach
anything like a zip drive, printer, flash card reader, the Mac can't
see it and says no drive attached or can't find printer or scanner or
whatever.
I've tried to install any drivers I could find for the zip driver,
scanner, printer, but still nothing.
Also, assuming I get a USB zip drive working and share it, can my IIci
see it and use it through appletalk?
Thanks
Thomas

Dr.Bott still sells a 2 and 4 computer ADB KVM
http://www.drbott.com/prod/db.lasso?code=1104-MSA4
I have the above 4 computer version found mint on eBay for around
$50 or so
with full cables sets. As you can see they are a bit expensive new,
but used
ones are affordable and worth it for space and convenience.
I've a 8 port and a 4 port Avocacent switch. (19" for PCs).
I connect the macs (840av and a 9600). Industrial stuff
I saw the vendor has ps/2 to adb converters, but they are Eur 70 the
set.
They also can connect Sparcs etc to it, same pricerange.
