As all of my old macs headed out the door last week, to someone with a lot more time to play with them (sigh), I'll be signing off this list (at least till my old G3 starts looking a bit more vintage). It was not my plan to make this kind of announcement (I make a habit of not sending one-on-one messages to the entire list, but the unsubscribe address did not work, and rejected my request and I did not get a reply to my message to post- master. So whoever out there does the behind the scenes list management, please take me off.
I wish you all well and wish I had more time to devote to the endless futzing (and I don't mean it as an insult - I am an inverterate putterer, and I like it) needed to keep all the old machines going.
