The free Stuffit Expander you download should be a BinHex (.hqx) or MacBinary (.bin) encoded self extracting archive. Download the .hqx version. In TransMac, go to Options and set the PC to Mac copy options to Automatic. TransMac will then decode the .HQX file as it copies it to the Mac formatted 1.44M floppy. (Assuming that the Stuffit Expander download fits on a floppy after decoding from BinHex!) Then you should be able to pop that floppy into your Mac, copy the Stuffit Expander installer to your hard drive (or Option-drag to the Desktop to _copy_ it instead of making an Alias) then doubleclick to install. With Stuffit Expander installed, you can now unstuff any .sit archive. It will be total Fandemonium, Summer 2005!
