Hope you and yours are doing well. I spent the morning at several local
Flea Markets. Found a great item that rang a bell as an Airstream
family accessory. You remember the tubular aluminum folding cots with a
colored canvas stretched out on them? A couple was selling out their
household stuff and had a nice bunk bed version. The top bunk section
can slip onto the bottom frame or they can be set up as individual
units. Reminded me of the setups in the late forties airstreams I've
seen shots of. I don't know how crowded things are getting with the
boys growing and all, but for some reason I thought of you and your
gang. It was only $15 but had just cleaned out my wallet to get some
other stuff. Anyhow, they gave me their phone #. Let me know if you
two are in need of expanded kid quarters on trips and I'll give them a
ring. Maybe I'll call them anyway and just get it for contingencies.
The canvas was a nice blue or turquoise. Too much sun.
Am chipping away at oxidation and "Traveler" projects.
