Mr Bill Scott, your recent posting of a chart of serial numbers with years
certainly perplexed me until Tom Walden gave an explanation of years
antedating their manufacture at times.
My serial # is 07350 on an Overlander. I have not found any other id plate
on the frame yet. I received this trailer as a "1956" and when I was taking
the thing apart, I found a date on the back of the bathroom mirror that was
"Dec 4 1956" so at least that accessory comes from that year.
Could you provide any further analysis? I would conclude that for technical
purposes, my trailer is a 56, but if the preponderance of the evidence shows
otherwise, I could move up to 57.
